The text of the Qur'an is written in black ink; the names of the surahs, the signs of recitation, the sections between the verses are written in red ink. On the first pages there is an ornament in the form of a geometric pattern framing the text. The handwriting is naskh. Dagestan paper, locally produced, white, dense, matte.
