Parchment, Gregory's rule; side lines ruled: dry-point (on the hair side); queaternions; fol. 59 blank. Restored biding; in OK condition. Large Maġribī Qur'ānic calligraphy. Blackish-brown ink; with red (vowels), blue (sukkūn, šadda), green (waṣla), and yellow (hamza); versemakers, marginal vignettes, and opening heading illuminated in gold. Carpet pages int he beginning and end with geometrical design. Opening sura heading in round script (fol. 1v); the second in Kūfī script. Endowment deed on fol. 1r; inventario Contelori no. 11 (1620ies); in the Ecchellense inventory (between 1653-1658): n. 254.
