Descriptive card

The Koran. 367 fols of thin paper, 15 lines to the page. The script is a handsome naskh with gold margins. The first two pages and the last page are fully illuminated in gold and various colours. The binding is Turkish, flapped dark-red morocco with sunk gilt centre and borders. Copyist: al-Saiyid Ṣāliḥ 'Jamshīr Ḥāfiẓ'.
