15 lines per page. Nash script, vocalized, written with a very skilled hand. Folio 1b, where Surah Al-Fatiha is found, and folio 2a, where Surah Al-Baqara begins, are decorated in a diptych with gold, blue, and red. The black ink is of low quality and does not smudge with moisture. The titles of the surahs, the number of ayahs, and the place of revelation are written in red at the beginning of each surah. The paper is thick, yellowish, and of Eastern origin. The pages have decorated margins in gold and graphite. No binding. The paper has a watermark, of Eastern origin. The text is framed with a thicker golden line, reinforced on the exterior side with two fine lines and on the interior side with a fine black line.
