Descriptive card

The Koran in the form of a scroll. The scroll measdures 10,1 cm wide, the firm paper being mounted on blue cloth. The script is a minute naskh within gold margins, illuminated throughout in gold, blue and various colours. Each Sura being introduced by an ornament. The script at times forms patterns Koranic text exhibiting many styles of calligraphy, 14th century.
