Jahic (2011). Catalogue Arabic, Turkish, Persiand and Bosnian Mss Sarajevo Historical Archive Vol. 2
7 lines per page. Part of the Mushaf beginning with Surah 55 and ending with Surah 114. Kufi, handwritten. Black ink, high quality, moisture-resistant. Names of Suras and places of revelation written in red ink. Medium-thickness, smooth, dark-white, watermarked paper of European origin. Leaves affected by humidity and with holes, slightly separated from the binding. The foliation has been added later with graphite pencil. Leather binding, damaged by a hole, cracked along the spine. On the outside of the front cover there are elaborate rosettes with floral motifs. There is no information about the copyist and the year of production. Judging from the paper, ink, lettering and binding, the copy is most likely from the 16th century.
