Jahic (2011). Catalogue Arabic, Turkish, Persiand and Bosnian Mss Sarajevo Historical Archive Vol. 2
11 lines per page. Nash script, vocalized, written in black ink of good quality and resistant to moisture. The names of the surahs, the number of ayahs, the place of revelation, as well as the marks for the beginning, middle, and quarter of a hizb, along with recitation symbols, are written in red ink. The paper is thick, smooth, dark white, watermarked, and of European origin. Some pages have moisture damage and have become detached from the binding. On some pages, the text is framed with a red line. Pagination was added later using graphite pencil. The binding is original leather with a flap. It has been damaged by moisture and insects, and it was repaired and reinforced. The flap retains remnants of green silk. There is no information about the scribe, the place, or the year of transcription. Based on the paper, script, ink, and binding, it is likely from the 18th century.
