Descriptive card

The Koran. 290 fols of firm paper, 12 lines to the page. The script is a majestic naskh, alif being 1,6 cm, 15th century. The first page is fully illuminated in gold, blue and various colours, and the colophon is decorated. The binding is modern, flapped red morocco. This copy was written for Qā'it-Bey.
