Descriptive card

The Koran. 286 fols of firm paper, 15 lines to the page. The script is an elegant naskh within gold margins, 15th century. Folios 1b-2aq and 134b-135a are fully illuminated in blue, gold, green and various colours. The binding is Turkish, flapped dark-brown leather with sunk gilt ornaments.
