Descriptive card

The Koran. 276 fols of firm paper, 15 lines to the page. The script is an elegant thulth, alternately blue and gold, and a fine naskh (1+6+1+6+1), every page being decorated, 16th century. The first two pages are fully illuminated in gold, blue, green and various colours. The binding is Persian, flapped dark-brown leather with sunk painted ornaments.
